What’s the difference between going home and coming home?

A few weeks ago, I was in the throes of getting my manuscript of Saving Legacy Springs¬†in shape for the editor to take a red pen to it. If you hate grammar, you would have hated my task: trying to figure out whether to use a comma or not, making sure quotation marks were at both ends of a piece of dialogue, and ¬†searching for extraneous words that I might have used. Like ‘that I might have used.’ The sentence is fine–and better–without that additional phrase.
